I went to the Finger Eleven concert yesterday, it was fun. It was a pretty small crowd since it was in Abby and we have no people. Everyone had been planning to buy tickets, but then nobody did since none of them ever actually follow through with what they planned. Oh well, their loss. I had a great time. There was some one man band at the very start, Mayor McCa I think it was and he was awesome because he was just sooooo stupid that you had to enjoy it. After there was a really Linkin Park rip off feel band that only seemed to be able to play one basic beat and kept plugging themselves which was just really tacky. The more they said to buy a t-shirt and go to their website, the less I liked them. Closure was on after that and they were pretty good. They have one song on the radio now that's pretty popular and even though it's not the greatest song, it was pretty good live. I did reconize a few of their other songs though not many. Then of course Finger Eleven came on and they rocked. They played First Time, Drag me down and a couple of other classic old ones, though they didn't play Bones and Joints. They played mostly new songs off the new CD which was cool. Then they played the best 2 songs last and I was soooo happy. Even if they had sucked the rest of the night (which they didn't) all would have been forgiven after. Good Times and of course One thing are the best 2 songs they have. The rest of their songs are mostly a blur to me, but I love those 2 songs. I just found out that for almost the whole rest of the tour they have Evanesance as their openning band.... I would have shot myself. They are by far the worst band in the history of music. Well I'm sure I can find worse. They just piss me off because they have 2 songs on the radio right now, both of which are horrible, yet they get played none stop. I have no idea what would have happened if I was forced to hear them play. All I know is the rest of the night would have been horrible and nothing could have fixed it. I'm happy I missed them ^_^
