I just got this email from my prof:
"There have been rumours of a transit strike occuring sometime this week. Should there be a strike on the day that your project proposal is due, you are not expected to take a taxi from Surrey (or anywhere) to Burnaby just to hand your proposal in! If there is a transit strike, you will be expected to hand your proposal in the day that transit starts running again. Your TA's will email you with more specific information about drop off times etc.
If there is a transit strike on Thursday, the midterm will be postponed to next week.
Cheers"
Now all I have to do is hope it comes true. I actually don't want the project to be put off because I will be done, I wouldn't mind more time for my test though.
